I can see a neckbeard soy latte in hand little shit getting paid $15/hour by the DNC to create new accounts, copy/paste, and mass tweet this. But he's secretly still pissed because he's a Bernie bro. So he really can't tell anybody what he's doing.
I mean someone initially had to write that the Democrats know how to run a campaign... By hiding their candidate in the basement and picking the most unlikable woman in the world (outside of Hillary) as a running mate. The level of brain damage is off the charts.
I do seriously wonder wtf they were thinking by picking Kamala. I would call them stupid but that’s an insult to stupid people. They could’ve gotten the center with Biden and the radicals+women with Warren; that would’ve been a much smarter move. They also could’ve put up the Buttigieg puppet. What they went with makes no sense; it’s like they don’t want to win. Or maybe they knew it wasn’t gonna happen so pick the shittiest candidates and toss them into the fire as throwaways.
Before the Rona, that was certainly the case- they picked the candidates that they could afford to lose. That happens a lot in incumbant years because incumbancy is REALLY hard to overcome. You have to have a very unpopular president and a very strong running mate to overcome it.
It's happened only once in my lifetime with Bill Clinton. Bush Sr. was crap. Conservatives hated him because of the new taxes. Dems hated him because of the war and the fact he was Republican. Then you get slick-talking Clinton who has an awful lot of charm to run against him, and dottering Ross Perot who probably would have been a great president on policy, but just had all the charisma of a thimble. Perot pulled away the votes of the conservatives that wanted to make a statement against guys like Bush.
The second closest time an incumbant got blasted by his opponent was Carter vs Reagan. Again, a very unpopular president going against a charismatic powerhouse. And look at Reagan's re-election. He won in a massive landslide that polls the days before showed he'd lose. The media has played all of these tricks before, just not to the heavy-handed extent they are doing it now.
This is why I haven't been super concerned about Trump losing. Ignoring the polls (which are almost always dreadfully wrong right up until the election anyway) Trump has all of the usual winning markers in his favor. He's gotten record high primary turnout (by almost double what the previous record was, and I believe that was Clinton), which is the most solid marker of who will win. He's got just enough job approval in his favor. He's running against a candidate that doesn't have much charisma. His opponent isn't running on a platform of being for anything, but rather just against Trump, and that strategy has never ever worked.
Seriously, the only things in Biden's favor are polls that are historically inaccurate, and a mail-in cheating system that isn't guaranteed to hold up or produce the heavy Democrat results that they want us to think it will. I think their gambit is probably to cause as much chaos as possible- get the riots going again, get the Covid news x 10, blame Trump for everything, and try to steal as many of the smaller house and senate races as possible.
