Hey guys, so I’m just wondering if it’s possible to institute a no wokes hiring policy in our company.. it’s small, we employ around 40 people and most of our employees definitely don’t sit around talking politics at work.
But with BLM culture some of the trash is sure to be washed in,,
Is there any large/ public company that has a defined no woke culture policy for hiring new people?
Is it legally allowed to go through social media records of prospective employees to find out if they are supporting BLM/ Antifa etc?
I did suspect if it becomes public, the blm Antifa gang will shame our company and cause us bad press...

If they put their affiliations on social media, it's public information. Use it as you will. But be very careful when you tell someone why they weren't hired. Have a stock answer like "we filled the position with someone that had better qualifications. We'll keep your resume on file in case another position opens up".
HR from my old company of 2500 never gave a reason why a candidate wasn't hired, why would you?
