But here's what's shitty, Joe Rogan is not the fun, light-hearted, conspiracy loving podcast host anymore. The media is forcing him to become a legitimate journalistic outlet, which is what they need to be. Joe rogan's podcast was never a source for fact checkable journalistic content, it was supposed to be fun and light-hearted.
Joe Rogan acted like a dick to Alex Jones that entire podcast. Fuck joe, he has well and truly sold out. Joe Rogan should not have to apologize, fact check or do anything for the sake of his podcast. It was supposed to be entertainment.
Secondly, Joe helped Alex a lot. Forcing him to slow down. Forcing him to stay on topic. Forcing him to substantiate his points. Pretty much every time they asked Jamie to pull something up... Jones was right!
If you just let Alex Jones go uninterrupted he will never stop, and normies are never going to follow it. Trust me, I know two people this red pilled the fuck out of. People who thought Jones is just spouting nonsense now do not.
The thing is man, this is about free speech, free thought and all of those old ideas. Joe Rogan has clearly been heavily influenced to start fact-checking, and regulating what his guests say. That is lame and boring. Again, no one is tuning into the Joe Rogan podcast to be taught, it's supposed to be entertaining
He but did have free speech. He didn't tell Alex that he couldn't talk about any particular subjects.
I was worried about the Spotify thing too, thinking Joe would totally sell out and it would only be celebrities and people with agenda (like what Reddit AMA turned into. Everybody just promoting their new book or movie).
Having Alex Jones on AT ALL was a huge "fuck you" to the haters. And fact checking him a bit, while annoying to listen to, massively helped Alex get his points across.
And he just had Glen Greenwald on, who is taking a principled stand against the censorship of the Hunter Biden story. I think Joe is doing really well, to be honest.
You make some good points, I don't entirely disagree. But at the end of the day, Joe Rogan is being forced to do a lot of this stuff. His podcast was just supposed to be a light-hearted good time.
By playing the left's game, we legitimize their insanity. Joe Rogan should not have to be a journalist, journalists are journalists. But in america, journalists are leftist activists, and they are telling Joe Rogan that he has to be one as well. And he is playing their game, by acquiescing

Strong disagree, my friend
