Just got the news that I was positive for the corona virus.
I was feeling like I got the flu about five days ago. So I had myself tested. Curled up with a hot water bottle and been watching my 80's movie collection. Holy shit do they just not make them like they used to. Ever wonder why you never see a head explode or an arm get snapped in half like in the good old days?
Back to the Rona. Day 1 was not so bad. Day 2 was horrible cause of the fucking cold shakes. Day 3 was still not good but not as bad as Day 2 and now on Day 4 I basically felt like I've just got a mild cough and a bit chilly.
This is the world ending virus you guys. And I pretty much beat it in under a week with the almighty medicine of chicken soup and Tylenol. We could have achieved herd immunity in under a month if all the young people would have just been left to their own devices and the elderly and vulnerable quarantined themselves.
Cause it was mandatory by my employer (the government).
Also I don't think it's smart not to get tested JUST because the libs are going nuts out of case fear mongering. For example I was going over to my >70 year old mother who is a triple cancer survivor this weekend.
I would have just gone if I hadn't known it was corona. Now I called her and said we have to postpone. I am not taking that 5% risk of killing her.
