A big difference between us in the western world, and those of us who are God-fearing (I am agnostic so I sort of count as God-fearing but I don't do anything biblical; no offense to anyone very religious, I just don't like organized religion) is that when someone is nice to us, those of us who are decent try to return the favor.
We say thank you, we keep it in our back pocket for when we're capable of paying it back or paying it forward, and we are there when our neighbors or families are in need.
If someone helps me by paying off a debt that I can't pay for example, and they need help with manual labor, or they need a ride to drop off / pick up their car for maintenance, or so on, we remember that they were nice to us and we try to help them.
We don't feel like the common people owe us anything (outside of agreements made), and that is a stark contrast to Islam and communists.
