For Muslims, any concession is a sign that Allah wants them to win. If you help or save a Muslim he's not going to be grateful to you; he'll think that Allah has bent you to his will. If you let them build a mosque, they don't thank you. They think Allah approves of their conquest so they'll push harder.
If you really wanted to stop islamic terrorism, it would be simple. For every victim, you round up and execute 10 random Muslims. They'll stop immediately; not only because they'd be afraid, but because they'll think that Allah is not on their side at this time.
A big difference between us in the western world, and those of us who are God-fearing (I am agnostic so I sort of count as God-fearing but I don't do anything biblical; no offense to anyone very religious, I just don't like organized religion) is that when someone is nice to us, those of us who are decent try to return the favor.
We say thank you, we keep it in our back pocket for when we're capable of paying it back or paying it forward, and we are there when our neighbors or families are in need.
If someone helps me by paying off a debt that I can't pay for example, and they need help with manual labor, or they need a ride to drop off / pick up their car for maintenance, or so on, we remember that they were nice to us and we try to help them.
We don't feel like the common people owe us anything (outside of agreements made), and that is a stark contrast to Islam and communists.

this sounds like hyperbole, and I doesnt fit 100% of the muslim population, but having interacted with a number of muslim immigrants, I have to say that you are rigth. And it is an unpleasant realisation after being spoon-fed the disney reality that all people are just the same and we all can get along with eachother. The truth is much more sobering. There are people that culturally live on a different planet than you. And the worst thing: You just cannot make sense of it. I tried it, tried it my whole live to understand these things, but it is impossible and theres no way of resolving the problem in any pleasant way. So which way, western man? Theres only two possibilities in sight: Turn your neihgborhood into a multicultural ghetto or fence off your neighborhood. It isn't the fault of Christianity or a weakness, it has just been used effectively, out of context, by opponents of Christians, mostly atheists, to put them in 'their place'.
