I am taking my 82 year old grandmother to vote today. She is going to be using a walker and wait in line if she has to. Hopefully they will have some curbside option for her. She is voting Trump just like she did in 2016. I am damn tempted to record a video of her talking politics but I don't want her to be harassed or doxxed. She says "cuck" and those "sonofabitches". Then she says "God forgive me, I am going to send my soul to hell for cussing" lol
Just a heads up pede, some walkers have seat options so you can turn it around and put the seat down, then engage the brakes and she can relax if the lines are long
My girlfriend is a very devout Christian, she does the same thing your grandma does. You are not going to hell for cussing, I tell her. She still stops herself short alot. I don't care really if she does. It amazes me how people are conditioned to dumb ideas. I love her with all my heart. I just tell her it's ok let it out.
A Christian is still going to care more about Jesus' opinion on things than anyone else's, so it's good that she wishes to honour him by avoiding such things. Still, his death will cover her sin even when she fails (which we all do).
The Bible has many themes about the power of the tongue. Just because you aren't immediately losing your salvation doesn't mean that you aren't doing damage to yourelf spiritually.

Think about the mental/emotional damage people do by not expressing themselves.
You can express yourself without hurting others. A tongue left unchecked hurts everyone around you and yourself.
