If the decision went to the house of representatives, Republicans would take the presidency since we have more Governors. The way it works is each State's delegation gets one vote regardless of how many house seats. Currently Republicans have the majority, at 26 delegations and the democrats 22 delegations. If even after all that, the matter isn't settled.... the Vice President becomes President temporarily until things are settled.
