Hillary Clinton becoming an elector for the electoral college is proof the democrat establishment is still in firm control. The complete opposite of the big tent GOP where the little guy has a voice.

Never forget what they did to Ron Paul. I have no love for Republicans.

I supported Trump early on because the party absolutely hated him and he took double log red oak dumps on all their 'shining stars', the sell-out whore club. Only natural when he started doing the same thing to Dems. The more the institution hated him the more I laughed, and maybe even hoped.

Now it is Donald Trump or full on Venezuela with race riots.

Republicans aren't conservatives. They conserved nothing. Speed Limit Socialists. McCarthy was right.

I sort of feel like the Trump movement started with Ron Paul in 2008. I remember being a bit of a normie then and not really that interested in politics. This radical Ron Paul guy sounded crazy to me and I was happy voting for the POW shit-stain because at least he had some military experience over "REEEE a BLACK MAN" who had really no formal experience. One of my close friends re-introduced me to Alex Jones during the 08 election cycle and I really began to support the small government "End the Fed" -Ron Paul. I campaigned for him and it was probably partially all of our fault that Obama got elected, because in many states, we were pulling voters away from McCain. However, If McCain had won, America would still be in terrible shape as of November 3rd, 2016.Trump has been a miracle.

without a doubt this really started with Ron Paul in 2008. A majority of the early Trump supporters I talked to online in 2015 were former Ron Paul guys from past elections.

Oh yes, no doubt about it. End the fed is another way of saying Drain the swamp.

In the 1970’s there were multiple people on radio reveling against excessive taxation as a way to government folly and control. The movement slowly became the Tea Party, the Ron Paul libertarians, the failed Ross Perot, and eventually the people electing citizen President Trump. Until now the Government control commies were out pacing against freedom loving patriots. Some of us have been waiting for this a long time.

richmomz 22 points ago +22 / -0

There are a ton of former Ron Paul supporter pedes (myself included) so I think you are dead on. Paul was great but he was too nice a guy to take on the swamp - Trump was the right man for this job.

McCain would have been an awful George W/Obama hybrid with the worst aspects of both. Romney would have taken it up the ass from Democrats and accomplished nothing. Obama was worth it to get Trump, but thank God for Donald Trump.

JBPrickster 4 points ago +4 / -0

As far as the ultimate goal for introducing a true uniparty in the US, it didn’t matter if McCain or Obama won in 2008. Two paths toward the same destination.

They tried to fuck over Trump too with the same bullshit, but he was too popular and too combative for them to get away with it. I love Ron Paul but he was just too nice of a guy to compete at this level of politics - Trump on the other hand had just the right amount of personal influence, charisma and energy to push the establishment aside.

Guarantee if Trump hadn’t dominated the primaries the GOP would have screwed him and put some cuck like Paul Ryan on the ticket.

What about ¡Jeb!??

11
JBPrickster 11 points ago +11 / -0

I’m convinced Jeb was “supposed” to be the nominee and then lay down for Hillary. Or if he somehow did win, he would certainly do what he was told. Jeb and Hillary were the intended uniparty candidates.

2
Sumarongi 2 points ago +3 / -1

Jeb was a big fat mistake!

Globalists (collectivists) have infiltrated both major parties which is why nothing changes and two people that are polar opposite on so many things like Bush, Clinton, and Obama can manage to do the bidding of the globalists and keep us in stupid wars.

I was gonna say that, yeah. Gop is just as corrupt. Only reason why Trump passed his primaries was because he was already too yuge to stop him. What a fluke, and boy did that fluke pay off. Not just for America, but for the world..... Sent the establishment into a frenzy, and more people than ever it seems are privy to the bullsht that is the media and the people they try to protect.

RedFoxOnFire 61 points ago +61 / -0

Not many people know this but I think I should point out all states actually have double the amount of electors than they think.

Say your state has 5 electoral votes. That means you actually have 10 electors, (or more), it's 5 for each party.

That way if a state unexpectedly flips then the electors can be counted on for voting for the party they're suppose to vote for.

4
Vir4030 4 points ago +4 / -0

When you vote for President, you are actually voting for a slate of electors who have pledged their support for that candidate. When I was younger, their names actually were on the ballot. It's not anymore, since everyone understands, and actually by law they are required, that it's really a vote for the candidate.

3
Ih8leftists 3 points ago +4 / -1

So then it's a stalemate? I don't understand.

If it goes 5 and 5 then who gets the electoral votes?

8
RedFoxOnFire 8 points ago +8 / -0

Who ever the people voted for.

If a state goes red then the five republicans will cast their electoral votes for their candidate.

If the state goes blue then they will cast their vote in favor for their party.

4
Ih8leftists 4 points ago +4 / -0

Thank you!

1
GadgetLex 1 point ago +1 / -0

Too bad there's such a lack of integrity that this needs to be a thing.

5
Throwingway22 5 points ago +5 / -0

They answered the broad view of your question. It's important to remember that you aren't technically voting for Donald Trump; rather, you are voting for the electors who then go vote for Donald Trump. I could be remembering wrong, but I believe that electors who you will vote for are typically selected by the campaign.

3
doublecross 3 points ago +6 / -3

It’s not that hard. If the state goes Dem, the Democrat electors vote and the Republican electors do nothing.

3
Ih8leftists 3 points ago +3 / -0

I fully believe she would have started a nuclear war with Russia had she won the presidency.

11

She wanted a military response over her emails being "hacked" by Russia (his name was Seth Rich). She was ready to end the world over her emails and this twisted hag actually wants us to believe the emails were about yoga and recipes.

I kid you not, her lawyers excuse for not turning over half of the 60,000 emails was that they were private and "consisted of yoga routines and planning for her daughters wedding". These are the emails she smashed phones and wiped hard drives over.

But we never deployed troops into her living room to kill the traitor.

If Trump carries New York, I think that just means Hillary lost the election and she doesn't get to vote.

Only electors whose party wins get to do any electing.

16
Ih8leftists 16 points ago +16 / -0

Ohhhh THAT'S what it means.

I am embarrassed to say I had zero clue on what an elector was.

6
Dallasguy 6 points ago +6 / -0

That's sad. Another loss won't mean anything to Hillary. She's used to that by now.

9

Why do you people keep saying this..... She will only do it if the Dems win NY state.. If Trump wins NY state the Republicans will send their own electors from NY to vote. Not Hilary.

2
Sumarongi 2 points ago +3 / -1

It would be awesome to have her as an elector and being forced to vote for Trump though

1
marsajane1949 1 point ago +1 / -0

She wouldn't be forced to though, this is why each party sends their own electors if they win the state. So you have faith the elector will vote for the person they are supposed too

0
Sumarongi 0 points ago +1 / -1

Ah I see

6
Smurfection 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's more proof that she's a has been. It's all, washed up politicians and party chairs that become electors or young activists. It's an honor for one type and a reward for the other. Although, the vast majority of those who formerly held Federal office do not ever become electors. I honestly don't know a single case where that has happened. It would be alike a State Senator running for dog catcher.

Hillary Clinton to vote as member of New York’s Electoral College

Be ready Pede's this election isn't going to be as easy like it was back in 2016... I have a feeling the radical democrats are going to fuck with the 'Electoral College' at every turn!

The only reason they didn't back in 2016 is cause they thought the American people were stupid or something.

All I'm saying is be READY

3
mostooge 3 points ago +3 / -0

I would only agree if it's Trump's GOP.

3
Lord_Yeezus 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think putting up joe “dementia” Biden as their candidate was all the proof we needed for that.

3

I think it was another one of her desperate attempts to stay relevant, and she just had to announce it.

3

Ed Buck was an Elector to the Electoral College from West Hollywood for Hillary in 2016. Ed in now in jail for allegedly murdering disadvantaged BLACK men.

If there is cosmic justice Hillary will end up in jail too for doing bad things to BLACK Haitian orphans.

Also never forget what the dems AND the gop did to Herman Cain. I know Ron Paul is already being discussed here, but Herman Cain had solid economic plans, believed in the real American people and in putting America and her citizens first.

And he got taken down by a simple affair.

Now compare an affair to all of the shit we have seen in just this year alone.

Imagine if trump won new york and she was forced to cast a vote for donald trump.

1
EpstinDidntKilHimslf 1 point ago +1 / -0

She’s gonna set an example for the other electors and vote against Trump?

1
mediweevil 1 point ago +1 / -0

meh, striving for relevance. whatever elector position they put her in was going to be a demonrat vote anyway.

1
CactusPete 1 point ago +1 / -0

But imagine the hilarity if she had to cast her vote for . . . Trump. Won't happen, given NY, but it would be awesome.

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
1
GadgetLex 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's happened before. I think when Trump won the last time, a handful of electors did cast their vote for someone else. I think one cast their vote for an Indian Chief. I can't remember the other one.

The punishment varies from state to state for rouge electors. For some states it's like a fine they have to pay. Other places, I think it's a felony. But the punishment seems to vary.

RP2012 guy here Voted TP2016 100% MAGA TP2020!!!

1
mercynurse 1 point ago +1 / -0

When you vote for your party candidate, you simultaneously cast a vote for your state electors.

Electors are PARTISANS.

There is a slate for each party.

The party that wins in your state sends their electors to your state Capitol to vote.

Hillary Clinton will vote as a Democrat Party elector if the Democrats win New York.

Bernie Sanders was an elector for the Socialist Workers Party in New York in 1980s.

He never voted as said elector since the SWP (obviously) did not win the state.

Hope this helps to clarify how our Electoral College works.
