We had to drive 2.5 hours each way and pretty much used up a whole day but it was worth it. This man has taken so many slings and arrows for us over the last four years that I thought the least I could do was give him a day.
PRO TIP: Walmart sells a folding camp chair for less than six dollars. Once they start letting people through the metal detectors place it all the way to the side and it will probably be there when you come out after the rally. If it’s not there then it was only six bucks and well worth it to be able to sit while you wait in line.
We got there at 10:30 AM and they didn’t open the gates until three. There were food trucks that you could utilize while in line, at least in Des Moines. There were food trucks once you got inside the metal detectors. So I wouldn’t worry too much about taking food and drink.
Enjoy it for us blue-surrounded pedes!!
HAVE A GOOD TIME.
I’m so jelly! I’ve never been.

And does it for no pay! Hardest working President we have ever had.

We're thinking of going to the Reading Pa rally. If the doors open at 1 for a 4 pm rally, what time should we get there?
