The content quality has taken a hit. More brains are better than few, until it drags the avg quality to average.
Sometimes I just want to read about what the Trump admin is doing and not how Trump is so great or Hunter's slong. Particularly all science and education related posts have disappeared for me personally.
There's a rule on msg board to lurk a while until you post following the 'standards observed'. This needs to be observed, but there's no incentive to do so, in fact many post are of people talking about their feelings about Trump and libtards and many recent comments are aimless bandwagons.
Don't be offended, but this is a .win HQ of sorts not a public gathering.
Solution:
Objective:
- Organize people that want to chat and communicate vs people that want to learn and organize their peers into different groups.
- Seamless transition between the two (or more) groups.
Implementations (ideas welcomed):
A. Change new to 'recent' and add a 'news' tab, this would work like a filter. Nothing else changes news would still appear on all other tabs
B. Add more tags and a more robust filter system.
C. Do nothing and become New Reddit.

Filtering stupid is something everyone do everyday. Censorship is making the drunks to be quiet vs asking them to go hang out with others 'fun' drunks.
