The deep state might be terrible, but they're still one connected threat as they have massive ties to all of america's biggest enemies (china). In Washington's case he had multiple threats from all sides, including the british on his east and north, the spanish that were slowly encroaching from the south, and the vast amount of indian tribes who were being bribed by all kinds of other nations. If Trump goes to war with China and wins all of the BS (the deep state stuff, the russia shenanigans, the media) are effectively powerless. When washington went to war with britain and won, he still had a ton of other conflicts at hand that wouldn't end until the early 1900s.
