Indeed, in addition to what I said, it’s also extremely important for defending the scriptures. Sophists (for an example Jehovas witness love to argue the original Greek doesn’t support Jesus being God in John 1) twist the scriptures thus it is necessary for us to readily refute them. It is not necessary that all men learn Koine Greek yet it is necessary that those whom are called to do so to provide aid to the community, offering defense and explanation. It is a personal advantage to all people to read it in the original text if they are willing and able to do so.

Fair enough. I've had dealings with the JW's before it's quite amazing how they twist it. Their Bible version along with all other modern "translations" consistently attack the divinity of Christ. The point I am making however is that God promised to have his exact pure word available to every generation. All modern translations operate on the flawed premise that the KJV isn't already perfect, which it is.
