I got an email from Nine Inch Nails the other day about new stuff in the store. Hoping it was a new vinyl release I popped in. Nope! It was for a mask. A mask that has a velcro patch so you can put words like "compliant" or "happy" on the front. It made me sick. So I dropped into the NIN sub to see if there was a backlash against it. Another nope! They were loving it! They were all about wearing masks and getting a cool new fashion accessory. Worst of all these two masks cost $35! I took such a hit to my karma I'm rate limited site wide! Another bullshit aspect of reddit, I might add. The replies were terrible! So many people eager to throw money at this. So many of them thinking they're the "punks" who bow down to the government. All the fans of a guy who made an album about not buying the governments bullshit are now groveling for state control. Un-fucking-real.
