I wish there were a good avenue for 'passive' (not sure if right word) protests to be made more clear.
The cities are using the businesses to enforce their rules, which makes it hard to protest. I don't want to protest the business owner, but there aren't any businesses actively against government overreach in my area (that I know of) for me to support. Furthermore, it shouldn't solely be on the business owner to resist. But there's also no way for me to protest without standing outside of city hall with a sign.
All this 'soft lockdown*' stuff makes it hard to protest in day-to-day activities without putting business on the spot as the middle-man.
* you can do XYZ, but only under ABC restrictions, like gyms, sports, restaurants, etc
If they keep us locked down for 111 days, expect a bunch of “peaceful” anti-lockdown and anti-mask protests to rise.
