I was hoping to go see a rally this Saturday with my dad, but I was wondering if they actually require you to print out the ticket. I went to a rally back in 2016 with printed tickets and they never even asked for them, can anyone confirm that that's still the case?

Thanks in advance.

You can walk right up... only a metal detector check is what you will go through. no umbrellas inside, can't carry in chairs or things like that....

Likely a very long line... miles?.... but it will move fast - I am guessing that showing up a minimum of 4 hours before 'Doors Open' - would be the best option. Wear comfy shoes...

I was at the Lansing Rally this week... standing for hours - and the poor weather was rough.. but the Rally was AWESOME... I would do it again in a heartbeat... They passed out rally signs and bumper stickers for free...

WELL WORTH THE TIME of course.... A real party everywhere.... lots of smiles and happy energetic patriots! EVERYONE WAS UP BEAT... Patriots everywhere you looked...

GO - Lots of FUN.... really historic. Venders and food trucks seem to show up too...

You can register here if you like...

Thanks! That's how it was back in 2016. Just to be sure though, you attended a rally this election cycle and that's how it was? Just don't want to wait in line forever if I don't actually have a physical ticket and need one.

I'm hoping since it's an outdoor event the lines won't be as bad.

Awesome, thanks so much! How early did you arrive? Doors open at 1pm but POTUS doesn't speak until 4pm. It's at a small airport so hopefully it won't be too bad. Any suggestions on how early I should try to be there? My dad can't really stand for hours and hours at a time...

How old is your dad?

60 but he's been a blue collar worker all his life and has back issues.

I told him I'd bring a folding chair and run it back to the car when we get close to the entrance and he can hold my place in line, but he's stubborn and for some reason thinks that'll create a scene or something lol...

You do get to stand in place for a while... once the doors open the line moves fast. You can leave the chair right outside the rally gates.. no one is going to take it... pick it up on your way out...

When I went through the metal detector to enter the rally area they had lots of umbrellas etc just sitting there set aside by rally goers... (we had rain and it was cold) --- no one is going to take anything... cops and SS everywhere. These are good people.

I bet your Dad is tough enough to get through it all...

Once in the rally area - make sure to move to area 'facing' the stage - maybe lean against a wall or something... the sides are not the best..

ALSO - Trump was about an hour late starting our rally.... that kind of sucked... BUT we did see Air Force One up close ... and to see that plane with Trump and the crowd all in one spot for what ever reason ....was Stunning...

Thanks for the advice! I'm hoping for the same experience, Pence gave a rally at the same place a week or two ago and AF2 was parked on the runway right behind the stage. I unfortunately didn't know about that rally ahead of time so I wasn't able to attend.

I had a great time back in 2016, and even though I wasn't able to get into the building until the very tail end of the speech, hanging out with all the maga people in line was super fun.

It's supposed to be sunny that day, so I'm hoping that doesn't change because we've been getting rain all week here!

Thanks again!

Which one you going to, Reading or Butler?

Reading. I registered but my printer is out of ink so it'd be a pain if I need to print them since they don't send the tickets out until shortly before the rally.
