Exactly! The low-enthusiasm Dems won't bother to deal with a two hour wait. Even a bad case of TDS wouldn't motivate most of them. I also believe there will be a surprise coming on how many sane Dems vote Trump. The incoming salt will be glorious.
I agree! The left will stay home instead of voting. No one was at the voting machines when I went to vote. 20 computerized voting machines - empty. Go vote! Under the law, you are entitled to 2 hours off from work on Election Day so you can vote in person.
Did you have to show ID? I just realized my driver’s license is expired! I’m going to the same place I always vote (for the last 16 or so years) and I am registered, but I’m freaking out now because I need to get my license renewed and I think I have to show my freaking birth certificate and social security and I CAN FIND NEITHER!!! FUCK! I’m so pissed at myself! I’ve got four people I’m taking to vote with me (two are first time Trump voters), but now I might not be able to vote, and it’s my fault.
But, I read online that if you are voting at the same polling station you have voted at before, then you do not need to show ID. Is this true? Can anyone confirm? Obviously, I’m for Voter ID laws, but if Cooper cycled out and you don’t have to show ID, then at least it will benefit one Trump supporter, as opposed to all the voter fraud I’m sure the democrats will be committing. Anyways, thanks for any info! I will not be able to live with myself if I screwed up and can’t vote again for the greatest POTUS ever!
No. I whipped out my wallet and the gentleman said it wasn't necessary. Just asked me my name and then asked me to verify my address verbally. I was disappointed.
They print out a sticker/tag with your info on it including your voting district and then you go over to some rather open and totally not private AT ALL non-booths where you tap with a pen/stylus that they give you and you get to keep (I assume all of NC is the same, but I may be wrong in that assumption). It's this year's 'I voted' sticker. Instead of a sticker or pin you get to keep that.
True - two ways the media actually help us here (1) we don't watch it (and when we do we don't believe it), and (2) a long line will not discourage us.
The lake Norman area is a very nice area, a lot of upper middle class people with waterfront homes and boats, but they’re not the elitist snobby liberal type. Trump has a golf club on lake Norman. A lot of northerners here but they seem to be the nice ones who were lucky enough to escape the shitholes of NY and NJ. I’m one of them
Can confirm, we just moved to Lake Norman area. Very nice - my neighbor moved here from Long Island. Lots of Trump flags and boats. I got a cool pic of a full on Trump2020 wrapped boat on LKN while driving over on I77 the other day.
I’m waiting in line in TN right now. The line is long, but looks WAY longer than it is (social distancing). Took my BF about 30 mins & I estimate I might be here 30-45. Everyone’s making a last minute dash to the polls right now, because today’s the last day to early vote. Don’t get intimidated by the length of the line, it’s not that bad.
I don't know what the news said here, early voted in Florida two days ago with no wait, lots if supporters lined up for Trump vs two seated low energy lonely people under a Biden tent.
Depends where you are. My friend is the chairman of the CT RNC. He has lines at locations that are insane. It’s not as much the voting he says as the incompetence of the election workers mixed with COVId rules. Plus these areas are heavily populated. His other friend in Westchester NY are having the same issues. Lines around that block in some places. Plus rent a cops keeping people six feet apart and removing people actively campaigning or wearing campaign gear. But yeah upstate most places probably have no wait at all.
Totally. Two years in a row I early voted. First time 2-3 hour wait. Due to the 'switching the ballots out' because each district/county/city has its own ballot. But you could goto any of them. Next time it was maybe 10-20 min max.
So depending on who you get running the place it can either be 'no problem in out' or 'shitshow'.
First time you've voted or first time voted in the state? Someone else said 'first time in state'. Well, this is my first time voting in NC and I didn't have to show it. Guy said it wasn't necessary.
Same here. Also if you live in a really shitty part of the state, like say Wake county, they actually have an online tool with estimated wait times. It was accurate for me!
I'm sorry but how the fuck does the 'news' keep getting away with this shit? They're telling blatant lies left right and centre, yet ordinary people on the internet are the ones getting censored and cancelled and fired from their jobs.
I didn't have to. I even took it out with intent but the guy said it wasn't necessary. Just asked my name and then when he looked me up asked me to verify my address verbally.
I love that the news lies in this way. Because guess which party is more likely to believe them and stay home!
Exactly! The low-enthusiasm Dems won't bother to deal with a two hour wait. Even a bad case of TDS wouldn't motivate most of them. I also believe there will be a surprise coming on how many sane Dems vote Trump. The incoming salt will be glorious.
I mean, why should they? THINK ABOUT ALL THAT DEADLY COVID!
Best part of waiting outside...very few areas have outside mask mandates.
True.
I was already mentally preparing to stand outside a couple of hours before they opened. And even be late to work or miss entirely if I had to.
Nice to know it won't be necessary.
Lol we will line up for days in advance for a chance go go to a rally. Yeah a couple hours wait is gonna deter us 🤪
Exactly. Takes an hour to vote? GREAT! I don't want you voting if you don't care.
There should be a test before you are allowed to vote, too.
I'm with ya. I don't see how we can put license and restriction requirements on 2a but not on voting.
I agree! The left will stay home instead of voting. No one was at the voting machines when I went to vote. 20 computerized voting machines - empty. Go vote! Under the law, you are entitled to 2 hours off from work on Election Day so you can vote in person.
I don't care if it takes me 8 hours, I won't be supressed.
To be fair it took me over 3 hours to vote in NC 🤪
Same here but I went day 1 of early vote
Me too
Wow. Same with me (3 hours 15 min) and my sister (20 minutes). Without being too specific what’s the general location
Did you have to show ID? I just realized my driver’s license is expired! You do not need to show ID in North Carolina if you have voted in the state before
I have not voted in the state before and I did not have to show ID.
No. I whipped out my wallet and the gentleman said it wasn't necessary. Just asked me my name and then asked me to verify my address verbally. I was disappointed.

The idea is that it helps against covid spread 🙄
Best,

Honestly, "2 hour wait" isn't a deterrent for Trump supporters. When voting for freedom, you can have me line up 30 hours in advance and I'd be there.
I've waited over two hours in line for a rally before so don't try me.
Already voted via a drop box though so I don't have to worry about it.
Thank you for your service patriot
Less than 30 minutes from line to exit for me in Arkansas!
I'm in South East PA or "riot country" if you follow current events. Bringing a collapsible stool just in case. No excuses. We must get this done.
Lehigh Valley area pede reporting in. I'm going to wait ten hours + in freezing rain if I have to.
Yep voted in NC as well took about the same amount of time.
Did you have to show ID?
No. I had it out and the guy said it wasn't necessary. You give your full name, they look you up, and you verbally verify your address.
No just gave them my name and address, which felt like joke to me. Apparently NC originally needed a ID but Democrat Judge over turned it last minute.
That type of fake news only works on lazy leftists.
IMO this worse for self-important democrats who believe all of the horse shit they say on television and historically don’t turn out to vote.
True - two ways the media actually help us here (1) we don't watch it (and when we do we don't believe it), and (2) a long line will not discourage us.
I live in NC. My advice is to stay away from Raleigh/Durham area, as well as Asheville. Those are Democrat hotspots.
Personally, I've had enough of this state and plan on moving soon to TN.
The lake Norman area is a very nice area, a lot of upper middle class people with waterfront homes and boats, but they’re not the elitist snobby liberal type. Trump has a golf club on lake Norman. Howdy, neighbor! Moved to the LN area in 2017 right after the first best election ever.
Best,
Toofy 🐸
Nice! We just moved here from Indiana. Love the weather!
Howdy, neighbor! I'm one too :). Lived right on LN when I first moved down. I don't live directly on the lake anymore but still in the area.
Best,

Took me like 5 minutes in Florida.
Same here in Texas.
Me too. It was a momentous event for me:
https://thedonald.win/p/11PVpADoDo/big-news--i-stepped-into-a-votin/
I always have my LTC as a backup ID!
I don't know what the news said here, early voted in Florida two days ago with no wait, lots if supporters lined up for Trump vs two seated low energy lonely people under a Biden tent.
Get out and vote!

My wife and I both cast our votes for Trump in NC last week. Less than 10 minutes in and out.
Did you have to show ID? Just realized my driver’s license is expired and I’m freaking out! In the Bull City.
No, you only have to show ID if it is the first time you've voted. Neither of us were asked to show ID.
First time you've voted or first time voted in the state? Someone else said 'first time in state'. Well, this is my first time voting in NC and I didn't have to show it. Guy said it wasn't necessary.
Best,
Toofy 🐸
First time in the state. I just moved here from Indiana last year, so the primary was my first time voting in the state.
Schools are doing this, too, saying paperwork to transfer will take months.
I confirm. I went on Tuesday. I brought my kids to make sure they understood the whole process. Even with the rugrats I was done in about 15 minutes.
Id wait 16hrs to vote for Trump. Dgaf
I will dead ass show up in my full snow suit and bring a bag of handwarmers only for fellow pedes.
Same here. Also if you live in a really shitty part of the state, like say Wake county, they actually have an online tool with estimated wait times. It was accurate for me!
Took me about 45 minutes on the first day of early voting. Well worth it imo
the hold ups are probably from social distancing rules making people stand 6 feet apart and slow down to clean things
I'm sorry but how the fuck does the 'news' keep getting away with this shit? They're telling blatant lies left right and centre, yet ordinary people on the internet are the ones getting censored and cancelled and fired from their jobs.
Let's GO NC!!! Get out and vote don't wait till the last day
Do you have to show ID?
I did because talking through a mask and behind a plexiglass wall was hard enough and the guy took my of and said this is easier...go figure.
I didn't have to. I even took it out with intent but the guy said it wasn't necessary. Just asked my name and then when he looked me up asked me to verify my address verbally.
Best,
