I have known 5 CIA Operation Officers (they are not called agents). I lived in a Central American country for a decade and for most of those years lived in a community right behind the US Embassy. I had gotten to know most of them quite well. We were neighbors and our kids played with each other in the street. We had bbq's, went yachting, lunches and dinners together, fishing for blue fin tuna, and on and on.
They are trained to be elusive, dishonest, and completely loyal to the CIA....NOT the USA, or at least the way a constitutionalist would want it. They are very arrogant and I believe the agencies look for that quality in people before they hire them. But they hone that "skill" in them as time goes because arrogant people are confident, and you need confidence and a whole hella lot of it to do what they do.
A "simp" they are NOT. They care not for anybody getting ahead but their "family", which is the CIA. The post is, however correct in its first line and that they are not patriotic. I trusted none of them, and will never trust anyone from that devil's den.
At this point, I have zero faith in any of our intelligence agencies. They know and have evidence of the worst crimes in the world and just sit on them and leverage them for blackmail.

If the CIA truly was functioning as it should George Soros would have disappeared long ago.
