I've always found it interesting that the moniker Air Force One, just refers to whatever plane the president is on.

757 variant. I think there's 2 757s and 2 747 humpbacks
There are two Identical 747 that are typically used as AF1, however any Air Force plane becomes AF1 once the president is aboard. The smaller planes are state department Air Force planes. So far this year, I've seen two different 757's used (by the tail numbers)
And the 757 is smaller than the 747? I had presumed otherwise, but what do I know. lol
smaller plane, a 757 I think, that can user shorter runways and get in/out of smaller airports that can't service the 747 AF1
Any USAF plane the President is on becomes callsign AF1
