As a Virginia resident I can attest to the high energy Trump supporters have, at least in the southwestern portion of the state. Every weekend I drive between Lynchburg and Roanoke and count the Trump signs vs Biden signs. There are HUNDREDS of Trump signs, so much I usually lose count along the way. And more are being put up each weekend. There were about 5-6 Biden signs total last time I took that drive (2 weeks ago). I've been around a good portion of central VA and eastern VA and it is more or less the same story. Northern VA and the Richmond/Norfolk area tend to screw us over, but if ever there was a time in history for this state to flip now would be it.
Ralph Northam is the guy you're thinking of. And yes, he is our governor and falls under all the categories listed above. Nothing gets my blood boiling more than hearing him talk about post-birth "abortions" (executions). I don't have a crystal ball, but I am confident that man will reap what he has sown.
