I also strongly believe this is why the constitution says "God-given rights"" because it if it just comes from a person or government then it can easily be taken away by a person/government and so everything becomes a power struggle.

I can see why. Wherever I say so, somebody else might say otherwise. We have a right to speak. It's a God-given right insofar as vocal chords, the cortex thing, and our general faculty of language hasn't been given to us by any govment or paper or naught else. So, where did that came from? At the end of the line, it's all God or we're bust.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Life?. Of course. 'cause dead folks don't do much but stink up the room. eh.
Liberty. Of course. 'cause we all have shits to get done. In order to get it done, we must be free to act.
Pursuit of happiness? Of course. 'cause why else would we stand up and walk day after day?

I mean, it's nothing new. I'm befuddled that I still believe it need to said. Again.
