I've always felt that one can believe in the existence of moral relativism, that different people have different ethics, while still having your own code.

I acknowledge that people think it's ethical to behead infidels, and I fucking reject it.

What makes your code better than theirs?

Being aligned with reality and being able to produce as well as anticipate desired outcomes.

If you like fucking goats and iq crippling levels of inbreeding. Then embrace Muhammed.

If you like space force, food, sky scrapers, the internet, retarded levels of peace, prosperity and security the Western world clearly wins.

Well, it's hard to judge your position since you jumped in late, but . . . probably the people who produced the lower set of pictures would argue they are doing that too, right?

My code doesn't infringe on the freedom of others to live their lives so long as they don't infringe on my freedom to live mine.

Have you thought about why? Where does that come from? Is it logical? Or is it a conscience? A conscience give to you by . . . God?

Or at the very least: the laws of nature and nature's God?

It could be a self preservation mechanism, either logical or "instinctual". The creation of unnecessary enemies is not a desirable outcome

Then why the fuck are you voting republican? That's some libertarian shit if I ever heard it.

So I'm gonna have to clarify some definitions here to answer that. A Republican party member may be either a RINO, an economic conservative, a traditional Conservative, or some combination of the above. These (I mean, apart from RINO) are right-wing values - economical growth and honoring tradition.

Libertarianism is the celebration of freedom - this is neither right nor left wing, it is "south" or "down", and is opposed to Authoritarianism. Both Right and Left wings can go either Liberal or Authoritarian. The current Left wing in America is unbelievably authoritarian.

The current motion of the "Republican Party" puts it very safely Right and Below Center - conservative libertarianism.

In addition to that, President Trump is the absolute best libertarian candidate who's ever existed. He's for equality, he's for freedom, he's for avoiding unnecessary involvement in foreign international affairs. And as soon as there's a hint of his libertarian side being taken advantage of, the boot comes down fast and decisively. There will be freedom, and those who wish to partake are welcome. Those who wish to harm our freedoms are not.

Long answer short - I'm voting Republican because the Republicans are Libertarian.

"Better" is subjective, just like morality. I have my own moral code, and so do the people who kill infidels. The fact that they place their morality upon a pedestal of their God makes no difference to me. I reject it all the same.

Nobody cares what you reject.

If you're fine with Muslims beheading people over cartoons of Muhammad, then you're my enemy.
