I'm in the same boat. What happened for two generations now is a complete and total lack of meaning and purpose in their lives. The Woke political religion filled massive vacuum caused by secularism. They turned their politics into religion.

I was raised effectively atheist. But I became agnostic along the way because of my strong interest and research into near death experiences. Now it could be said that I effectively 'have faith' that a soul and afterlife exist... but I believe it to be in a completely non-traditionally religious manner.

I feel a new religion based on enlightenment values/western values could be a good idea for people who aren't interested in traditional religion. But something for community and meaning. Because what a freakshow the Woke garbage turned out to be.
