Sargon recently hit on the point that Aristotelian values permeated Christian thought, and went out with the bathwater when religion was discarded. Hence why woke heroes turn out to be villains when viewed critically, the woke do not recognize or understand the virtues traditional characters embodied.

The Fourth Age is an under-viewed channel that takes deep dive into this sort of thing.
