So your argument is that there were no prophets, no true prophecies? I mean, you're not the first to make that argument. In fact, you're in the company of almost everyone seeking to deny the truth. Jesus quoted Daniel, called Himself God, and performed miracles witnessed by thousands.

I go back to my original point- keep looking at the evidence, and make your own decision. The "God made everything, then disappeared" argument doesn't make any sense to me given the evidence.

If you don't believe the internal evidence of the Bible, I suggest starting with the external evidence. The accuracy of 66 books written by dozens of authors over a long period of time is remarkable. Most authors can't keep their story straight over a trilogy, and that's with the same guy writing it.
