If it's the contents of the laptop, it's 20+ GB of data at minimum. What service would you trust to upload this stuff at that volume?

Sending the drive was probably the most secure (and possibly even fastest) option.

It's not difficult to host a 20GB file to a server to download. Maybe for the layman it'd be a pain to figure out but Tucker has an entire staff to figure that stuff out.

Yeah, I don't get that either. unless it is a huge USB drive (like a terabyte), I can download it faster than UPS can ship it across the country.

Yeah in 1990 maybe. My work internet is 250mb/s down load which doesnt saturate an SSD. A TB wouldn't take long.

like? if its CP he has no business moving it around. if its just financial transactions and emails its hardly anything the biden camp can do anything about. the emails verifiable because of meta data / cryptographic hashes.
