^Exactly this. Just like Judges shouldn't be former D.A.s/A.G.s without a major cooling off period in between of equal time off, and even then. Ideally, they wouldn't ever hold other office again; there's just too much dirt and non-public info and chips. But over 50% of judges are former DAs, and congress is pretty bad too. For future swamp draining after this election take note.
