There's no point arguing with someone over their opinion. What's more important is to convince them that their opinion is right, but they can benefit from it.
The simple response is this;
Ask him to look at his pay stubs before and after Trump.
If he's making more money now than before, why does it matter if the guy's arrogant? Trump's failure is your dad's gain right?
I've almost never lost an argument with anyone with that line.
He brought up trumps taxes and all this crap. Father in Law even admitted to making money the past 3 years in the stock market.
