What can I do to protect myself from the potential civil war coming in my state as Trump wins?
🔥🏛️ VIOLENT LEFT 🏛️🔥
I live in a normal suburban area, but it's heavily liberal and I'm near cities of leftist violence. I already own two guns, but I still don't feel safe as we know how far the leftists go to spread division. What can I do?
Honestly? This. Blend in. Don't be a hero unless it's you and yours at risk. Or you want to help someone who legit cannot help themselves.
Also, my neighbors might not buy it with the going in and out with my "Socialism Kills/Resist Socialism" shirts, MAGA hat, and they'll be like:
Wasn't that your truck leaving the complex with all those Trump 2020: fuck your feelings flags?"
But then see i tell them I'm blending in with the TRUMP supporters...mhmmm.
They're retards they'll buy anything you tell them if you say it loud enough and project.
And Buy gas cans and fill up.
Shit. I need to buy gas cans and fill up...
I've lived through a fuel shortage that started by an idiot radio dj spreading rumors that we wouldn't be getting any fuel because a refinery a thousand miles away went offline in a hurricane. In under 2 hours every gas station within a 4 hour drive were completely empty. As they got deliveries, they'd be empty again in just a couple hours. It fucking sucked. I had to miss a few days work from not having any fuel.
All it takes is just a bit of panic from a few to start the snowball rolling. Took over 2 weeks for things to return to normal.
Yeah that was going to be my main plan
I'm on your side! What the f***, I'm on your side!!
Get ready for a ride of a lifetime. Make sure you are good friends with your liberal neighbors.
Thank you, and good luck to you as well!
If there’s any kind of ruckus in your hood just keep the lights off and bring in any loose furniture or decorations you might have out front of the house.
I think the hype of mass unrest is highly over estimated although there will be plenty of hot spots and mini “protests.”
If it were really bad in your area, like imminent danger, I’d say go out with a hail of bullets and leave it all on the playing field.
I love this site.
I'll keep on the lookout if anything like this happens near me
You need to have a plan. SHTF doctrine recommends you have a bug-out location at least two tanks of gas away from the nearest big city.
I think for what we're looking at here, that's a bit overkill. Don't wait too long where roads are shut down and travel becomes impossible.
If you're in a West Coast state, even getting east of tthe mountains will put a good buffer between you and any organized chaos.
Lastly, know your state's laws governing self-defense and use of lethal force. Remember that in most cases, you will have to articulate in terms that a reasonable person would understand to mean you were legitimately in fear for your life.
Guns are only part ofy our preparation. Have water, dry stores, warm clothes, and most importantly a plan in case you and your loved ones get separated.
Watch thedonald.win. If there is unrest, you'll probably see it here before you see it on your local news!
Assuming it's still up...
We actually stocked up today with the essentials. Cases of water, food, dog/cat food, toilet paper, made sure all medications were up to date and filled, etc. Just enough stuff in case they board up the stores here for a week or two. Better be safe than sorry. During Fentanyl Floyd business, our local stores boarded up and Walmart had huge construction dumpsters dropped at all the entrances/exits in their parking lot.
Canned soup is on sale by me so I decided to buy a decent supply of. Sucks that stable shelf food is so high soddium, I could buy fresh foods to freeze but it is not a stable "doomsday" plan because what if power goes out.
Anyone know of any decent companies or products that make shelf stable food that isn't over priced but not packed with sodium? Sure, you could buy just plain canned beef, then serve it with a can of corn and can of potatoes for low sodium overall, but real doomsday planning would mean the entire meal and all the nutrients you need is only in one can, stuff like soups or Chili
Get some dried fruit/trail mix. Lots of the trail mix is low sodium and high protein, you just need to make sure you find the right packages. If you have a local Aldi store, I suggest you go. Very inexpensive and the quality of their stuff is pretty dang good. They have a large selection of dried fruits and trail mix stuff. Plus all their canned goods are super super cheap. It's bag your own though and they don't provide bags for free. So take your own shopping bags.
Use donaldtrump.watch, find frens, and buy crossbows and machetes.
Do you have a place to bug out if SHTF?
I own a house that I lease on rent to some folks up in a rural area, but I was considering things that would allow me to let me stay where I am.
Call them. NOW.
Make sure if it comes to that that they know what your plans are.
Don't guess that they'll let you in out of the kindness of their own hearts. KNOW.
Make sure you have ways to contact your family/friends when SHTF (because it will) so you can GTFO ASAP.
Make sure all your gear and guns are packed and ready to go for a quick egress.
Do you have a 72 hour kit (Food ready to eat, water, first aid, meds, and supplies to last 72 hours) in a go bag? If you don't: assemble one ASAP. Do your fiends/family have 72 hour kits? Tell them to prepare immediately (or prepare for them if you have to).
You have NINETY SIX HOURS until November 3. GO TO IT.
Alright, I'll make sure to call them tomorrow, and don't worry, I can just force myself into the house, it's my property after all. Going to figure out how to plan a good 72 hour kit. Thank you!
You're no older than 18 and live in CA how do you own a house?
Says who?
Just guessing.
From what context?
Make sure you have food and water for a few days. I don't want to give a false sense of assurance, but whatever the left pulls, my sense is that it's going to get swatted down after the 3rd if it were to turn to violence. And it might. The rioting has been associated with black criminals getting killed by the police. In 2016, there wasn't rioting after the election. They were actually peaceful, albeit obnoxious and stupid, protests. Despite all our hysteria, I don't think they will outright turn to violence upon losing the election. I wouldn't seek out any confrontation, either. Just be safe, be smart, this is still America.
This election seems so much different than the 2016 one though, I feel like there's going to be a lot more unrest
I think it is different and the left played a different emotion with their base. Last election, they had hope. They thought clinton was going to take a landslide victory and be the first women president, so when she lost they were just defeated.
This election, they are already angry at Trump, as it is not even a campaign to promote pro-Biden, they are running the not-Trump strategy. The trigger that could explode tensions is Trump winning re-election. The question is, will their base act out on emotion, or accept the defeat?
Remember, everything they say about out is pure projection. I did not believe it at first, but at this point it is downright blatant. Remember how they said this side was going to completely melt down when Trump lost? Well, they are about to lose, and look at who is melting down.
Who's to say, ultimately, at this point? Maybe, find some cheesy biden sign, put it in your yard, and get a hotel away from it all for a couple of days over the election to see how it plays out.
I picked up some 77 grain Black Hills TMK
BTW, I live near downtown in a major city.
Get ready to GTFO.
Just talk to the neighbors on your block and share phone numbers so you can all make a plan if unrest happens. Nobody wants their house burned down or broken into. Your neighbors are wondering the same thing, reach out to then
Yeah I have, but none of them think that Trump is going to win or that there's going to be mass unrest
Then it's on you to formulate a plan so when shtf on your block and they see they were wrong you can help keep everyone safe
If shit gets sketchy, you're not going to want to go out to re-up on food supplies. Have plenty of food on hand. One good way to stock up is powdered soup mixes, $1 packets of noodle mixes, rice dishes, and mashed potatoes. Canned chili, spam, tuna, chicken, sardines for protein. Buy bulk bags of dry rice and beans. You can get a month's worth of food for under $100.
You should have implemented a plan like this long ago. I think we're good to hunker down for over a year just from buying a little extra each trip to the store. All stored in food safe buckets.
Oh, also cans of fruit and bags of dried fruits for something sweet. It's a good morale booster.
It's not too late to order a few Fleshlight's.
Treat your home like it’s under bush fire risk. Perhaps look up “‘protecting your home from fires Australia’’ - it’s harsh over here and we go extra steps to protect against fire.
You'll be fine as long as you haven't made enemies of any of your liberal neighbors. Lay low on election day, and maybe the day after, depending on events.
Normal liberal neighbors aren't going to come drag you out of your house, unless they know you and really hate you. 😁
Antifa types probably don't know you exist. Don't introduce yourself.
Buy some party supplies this weekend to cover next week. Secure your vehicles, park them in the driveway, if you have one. Keep you front lights out, and front room window coverings closed and enjoy an adult beverage while you follow events on here. 🍺😁
Yeah, lying low was what I planned to do.
