For many there is no hope. I've had some success pointing out that all of the cities where there are rioting and unrest have been Democrat controlled for a long time.

I also sometimes make headway showing exodus numbers of businesses and wealthy people out of blue states.

The problem really comes down to arguing feelings and emotions with logic. To their credit, I think most leftists legitimately want the world (and by extension life) to be "fair."

Accepting that life isn't fair threatens their sense of security and fills them with fear, so they look to their herd for reassurance and support.

They have to evolve on their own. You can only lead by example.
