I posted this on a similar thread: as tempting as it is, I would avoid asking them to name specific stances even though it seems logical. The last thing you want is for them to feel attacked and go into defense mode. They will completely block out anything you say. Unfortunately, I think it's best that conversations come up naturally.. which is rare now that the media is so corrupt and echo chambers are so prevalent especially in the 20-30 year old college educated demographic.. :/
