Former Muslim Nabeel Qureshi (1983-2017) exposes some little-known facts about Islam which he discovered through his own research. And what he learned about his childhood religion was WILDLY different from what the media and educational materials teach us today!

Muhammad initially thought he was demon-possessed when he received the first Qur'anic revelation.

Muhammad tried to commit suicide when his angel didn't return for a while.

Muhammad was susceptible to black magic and delivered Qur'anic verses he later admitted were from Satan.

Many unsavoury facts about Muhammad were reported by Islam's most reliable sources of Hadith, i.e. Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim etc.

The earliest biography (Sira) of Muhammad by Ibn Ishaq was edited and redacted by Ibn Hisham to remove elements which the latter considered to be unreliable.

Early Muslim sources including Sahih Muslim admit that large sections of the Qur'an were lost after Muhammad's death.

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud and Ubayy ibn Ka'b (two of Muhammad's top four Qur'an teachers) disagreed on the number of surahs (chapters) in the Qur'an. Ibn Mas'ud posited 111 surahs, while Ibn Ka'b put forward 116. Today's Qur'an contains 114 surahs.

Today's predominant version (qira'ah) of the Qur'an, called 'Hafs', was only elevated to that position in 1924. Other variants remain in use today, such as the 'Warsh' qira'ah in Morocco. Due to ambiguities in early Arabic script, each qira'ah differs from the others in pronunciation, grammar and a few small words.

Despite claims by Islamophile Maurice Bucaille (1920-1998), the Qur'an does not, in fact, contain scientific miracles.

The archaeological record in Mecca, Saudi Arabia is virtually non-existent before the 8th century (Muhammad died in the 7th century). Instead, nearly all the earliest mosques until 750 AD faced the city of Petra in Jordan.

People have successfully written surahs like the Qur'an. When recited aloud, Muslims confused the new compositions with the Qur'an.
From all these facts, a case can be made that Islamic governments/authorities from the time of Muhammad until 2020 edited the Qur'an and rewrote parts of Islamic history to conceal key information from the average Muslim and the general public.
Muslims that want to extract a reasonable belief from the Qur'an have to address a huge number of problems and follow some very difficult rules of interpretation. Because many Muslims can't even read the Qur'an let alone know how to read it, they are easily mislead. It doesn't help that it has been compiled and rewritten to support political ends. I had a Muslim friend explain to me how hard it is to properly interpret the Qur'an and how easy it is to fool the ignorant.
Many Muslims truly want to follow God. But they are bound to layer upon layer of deception. This was before the dominance of the Satan lead islamists. Now they no longer have a public voice, just like conservatives have limited public voice in the US. Christians need to pray for them so that they are freed of the bonds of the Qur'an and their demonic leaders. Then their minds will be free to understand the Truth in Jesus and the peace that comes from excepting Him as their LORD and Savior.
Amen. I'm convinced that Islam exists in order to show the world what it's like when man chooses his own way to approach God instead of Christ. It helps us better appreciate the Fatherhood of God and the atoning work of the Cross.
God through His Holy Spirit has been showing me stuff since I desperately ran into His mighty Arms in 1994. He had been teaching me a special way of looking at math since I was 4. In 2003 or 2004 He showed me that He has not forgotten about His Muslim children. He did this via verse and a powerful vision.
God has a plane for them. I know the outline but I can't share that now. But it's awesome just like everything He does. Those of us who have been cleansed in the Blood of Jesus need to be ready. First we need to abandon the idol of hatred (and a few more idols). And we need to pray in Love that our Muslim brothers and sisters are freed of their bonds. When He is ready, He with His own Power will do the rest. When He does, we must be careful to recognize what He has done and not be confused by our preconceptions for He is going to be doing a totally new thing. It will be glorious.
People talk about 4D chess. Ha! that's nothing. God plays Hilbert Space Chess. Just wait. It won't be long, maybe 4-5 years.
