My 6th grade niece was give a similar assignment: a reading on the glories of BLM and an assigned essay question 'Why do you support BLM?' No critical thinking skills of 'Do you support or not support' or 'Which aspects of BLM do you support or not support?'

She called me for assistance with the assignment, and I assisted her to the best of my ability.... LOL!
