In Dallas was coming out of downtown and was near Harry Hines and 35 close to Parkland Hospital and a Salvation Army. A few blocks which are kinda sketchy.
Anyway, pop into a 7-11 and the franchise owner behind the counter (will explain), a well dressed Indian dude is arguing with some random homeless guy who wants to use the bathroom. Dallas doesn't have much of a homeless issue, however this is right across the street from the Salvation army.
Now imagine this convo with the guy having a heavy Indian accent.
He tells the guy "Sorry, bathroom is broken". (It isn't broken he's apparently just tired of the stream of homeless people wandering in, doing dope in the bathroom, etc).
The guy says "What do you mean broken? Why is it broken?"
Indian guy: "Do I look like a plumber? Fuck do I know? Broken. Go away."
So the dude is like "fuck you man" and wanders out.
Now when I walked in, I noticed a sign in the window saying the store was closing last day of the month. I walk up the counter, kinda laughing to pay for my coffee and say, "So you're closing, huh? Bad location?"
Indian dude: "No. A quarter mile up the street would be a BAD LOCATION. This is the WORST FUCKING LOCATION. People stealing shit all day, smoking crack in my bathroom, blowjobs behind my dumpster. On November first (it was October), this motherfucker can burn to the ground for all I care."
