Guys it's really simple, if there's only 1 object in existence how many things are there in existence? Two: the object itself and the space around it. There you go.
But it also doesn't translate to a binary opposite necessarily (i.e. good can have varying degrees just as with evil). but we live in a universe of duality. Also good and evil are concepts depending on the POV of the person committing them and/or receiving them.
