First thing is to make sure you are in the relationship as equals. You don't need him to support you and he don't need you to support him, but you support each other out of desire not need. If that is the case then next time he has a stance on a topic that contradicts yours ask him to help you understand how he came to that position. Don't tell him he is wrong or misinformed just accept his explanation and go about your day. But remember everything he said, research what he tells you at a later time a day or so later, when you find proof his position is based on lies and deceit that he believed simply go "hey hun come look at this, Remember the other day you said ....... This says ........... and put the first cracks in his bubble. Rinse and repeat over weeks months years if need be just get his explanation destroy it politely and nonchalantly. Avoid making it confrontational. This will either make him realize the things he believes are false and begin to look for the truth on his own or he will descend into the Void in which case its time to move on
