After my only son graduated from basic training, the wife and I were sitting with him eating and drinking at a restaurant. As I watched him talk and take a swig of beer, I realized I was not only looking this young man in the military, but I was seeing the 5 year old, and the 10 year old, and the 14 year old, and the newborn baby, and the high schooler, and the college graduate, all at the same time. Then fast forward a couple years to when i had that last telephone conversion with him just before he got on that plane in Afghanistan. I remembered that time sitting with him at that restaurant. Fuck Obama, and Fuck Biden. I see my sons ghost every time I look in his old room. No fucking way Biden will ever get my vote.
