My definitive Batman was mostly Frank Miller's Dark Knight and Year One. Just thinking about how that Batman would be peppering rioters with bullets (rubber bullets, honest.) and snapping bones makes me laugh at this absurd betrayal.
Comicbooks are dead. There's some holdout writers and artists trying to make it on their own, but the lefty purity spirals successfully destroyed what was a uniquely American medium & industry. Japanese manga sells better than comics now.
When people try to renew it, like Alterna comics, bootstrapped indies, or reformers within the big 2, the female SJW whisper networks and the unhinged males (like Mark Waid) commit acts of tortious interference to erode their creative talent base and publishing deals.
I think part of their mentality is that if anyone can succeed, it would serve to prove what utter failures they are, so they must bring everyone down to their level.
Absolutely. Completely. Horrendous.
Comic books died approximately the time when Walking Dead was made into a TV series.
There is no hope for the media now. None.
Agreed. :(
Hahaha ha!

Lol. The kids hate gentrification.
This is why Americans would rather read Japanese manga.
Thankfully there's Comicsgate!
