The President is the CIC of the armed forces, gets to pick ambassadors, host diplomatic meetings, pick SCOTUS noms, sign bills, etc.
The President is NOT some dictator of local law enforcement.
You should not even WANT to rely on the federal government to keep you safe, idc who's in office, it's a terrible idea.

I’m less worried about law and order in my community than the rampant unpunished criminality perpetrated by elected officials.
I’d like “law and order” to be levied at them. I feel pretty good about holding my surroundings down.
