The actual job of the president. He is the head of the executive branch, whose role is to enforce the laws. He also swore an oath to uphold the constitution and defend America from enemies both foreign and domestic. It's time.
He needs to drain the swamp dwellers from all federal law enforcement agencies, and any military leader who resists the president's authority should be tried for treason.
I get all that. I certainly didn't say I want the feds to be a dictator to local law enforcement. Look at my username, I am a Ron Paul libertarian. I am glad Trump has stayed back and allowed Governors to do their jobs (or not).
However, the President is indeed the head of the executive branch, and to the extent federal laws are being broken with impunity resulting in harm to people and property, I would expect the executive branch to actually enforce laws.
Well, we have Wray and Barr put in by the POTUS and they are npt interested. That's all the POTUS can do in regard to enforcing federal law. Unless you want him to use the military...
Yeah I think that's a big problem. He has appointed what appear to be swamp creatures to these key positions and it has cost him. Either that or he is playing 4d chess like everyone says, but people in his administration seem to be working against him to the detriment of law and order in this country.

The President is not there to enforce laws...
The President is the CIC of the armed forces, gets to pick ambassadors, host diplomatic meetings, pick SCOTUS noms, sign bills, etc.
The President is NOT some dictator of local law enforcement.
You should not even WANT to rely on the federal government to keep you safe, idc who's in office, it's a terrible idea.
This type of misguided thinking will create precedent to turn the office of the president into a monarchy.
The Constitution supports the supremacy of local government. It's an entire treatise devoted to LIMITING the powers of the 3 branches of federal gov.
