I was at the grocery store just now in Washington state, wearing my MAGA hat. A guy in his 50's struck up a convo w/me, complimenting my hat, saying "Go Trump!", telling me he'd just dropped off his ballot this morning, and then proceeding to tell me he had previously voted Democrat his entire life! He said the crap going on nowadays caused him to say nope!

I said, "I hear about that a lot," (meaning, I hear about it online, this is my first time meeting someone who switched from Democrat to Trump). He goes, "Oh, yeah, have you ever heard of the walkaway movement?" I was like, "Yes!!!"

Exciting things are afoot at the Winco, pedes!

I think that a lot of Dems are voting for Trump this year, more than in 2016. In states that report early and mail-in voting, there is a presumption in the press (and polling) that the ratio of Dem votes for the party to the opposition will hold, leading to a false sense of the momentum in Dem voting. In 2016, the Dems for Trump were 5%; I am guessing that number is more like 7% or 8% now, or higher. Most Dems will not admit to friends or pollsters that they are going to vote for Trump.

Hope I'm right!
