Yeah just thinking about it from an enemy perspective, you could combine all of the world's military forces, including the US military, and it still would be an absolute nightmare to try and invade the US and actually hold anything.

With the US military on our side it would be an absolute bloodbath for any invading force. It's simply a non-starter for any military mind to consider.
