This will get me downvotes, but I don't care. It's bothered me for awhile since this happenedHe didn't live there right? He didn't have nothing to protect except for his life. The state could say he was looking for a fight. I'm a pacifist, only fighting when my life is in danger. I think this is what the state has to prove. Was he there to start something or did he think his life was in danger. He didn't have to be there imo

Doesn’t matter, legally speaking, why he was there (unless he was breaking the law by his mere presence).

I wouldn't be there. The state has to prove if he went there to kill someone or thought his life was in danger. I don't support his actions for that reason. What's the adage avoid Trouble you get no trouble. Put some thought into throwing him your support. Would you put your self in his place for a min? Would you bring this upon your self by being there? These people are looking for a fight. Best thing to do is not show up.

And yet look how much trouble Antifa has caused in this country for those not even trying to look for it. I think you need to re read the story. Many have come forward and said he was trying to give medical attention but then someone got crazy and tried to hurt him.

If you think defending your life is wrong, I believe you may be at the wrong site freind.
