The right to communicate freely and openly is explicitly protected and what exactly can be said and done was settled law over a 100 years ago. This basic function is probably the most important and value aspect of a democracy. You want my evidence proving how valuable it is?
Look at the market caps of Big tech. They have effectively monitized the first amendment for ad revenue. They hide behind the fact that it is online which is a total red herring. ATT can't tell me what I say on the phone, HP can't dictate what I print and post fliers and Microsoft office can't tell me what type of documents I write.
