I buy full-size bars myself. I live on a major artery and most parents think it's too unsafe to trick or treat on it. So any kids who do show get rewarded for bravery... and if none do? (Which happens maybe half the time) I'm not saddled with "fun" size bars.

I remember as a kid one guy giving out full size bars and we thought he was super rich I always said I would do the same someday.

That's how I got started. I lived in a poor neighborhood and I remember rumors of full sized bars when I was a kid. A few years a go I was able to afford to do it and even though my wife thought it was ridiculous I've been at it ever since.

This is awesome. I remember the same thing. The full size candy bar houses are legends.

Every year we trick or treat at baseball player Kent Hrbek’s house. Full size candy, even theater box size sometimes, and an autographed baseball card. My boys love this legend.

Exact same reason. Lived near a lake as a kid, and the full size folks were on the opposite side on the lake. We always looked forward to hitting their house, and always told myself when I owned a place I would do the same thing. The looks on kids faces when they leave, and their excitement makes it all worth it.

I just love handing out candy to the little kids and always have a lot of fun with it. Wifey usually puts on a scary movie and lets me man the door

My neighbor asks the kids age appropriate questions such as "how many branches of gonernment?", or "how many senators from each state?". Then as a reward he offers them a "full sized Republican candy bar" or a bite sized Democrat candy bar".
