I make “bags” of candy for each kid...10 pieces of the good stuff in each bag. Plus, toys for the little ones. Trump 2020.

If I lived in a smaller neighborhood I'd do something similar. On a normal year I go through 300 full sized candy bars and a bag or two of assorted candy. Im expecting to hand out a little more than half that.

Same here. My neighborhood is a popular trick or treating spot and I get 200-250 trick or treaters in a normal year. Full-sized candy bars plus bags of toys would be like having an extra car payment.

I bought the usual amount of candy (yeah, it's fun-sized candy, but top-name brands and popular types only...I don't buy the cheap crap that nobody likes). It will be interesting to see how many trick or treaters we get this year.

And no, I am NOT wearing a mask to give out candy. If they are afraid to walk up and take candy from me, they can go to the next house.

Yeah I'll be damned if I'm wearing a mask in my own house

I usually spend $150 or so. It's a lot but I'm fortunate to be able to afford it and it makes the neighborhood like me. Putting smiles on the faces of kids dropped off to trick or treat from poor neighborhoods is my favorite part. Im why they come to the "nice"(middle class fancy af) neighborhood, lol.
