Feels good
There was someone in line, at least 10 years my senior, told the sign in desk "this is my first time doing this voting thing, so bare with me".
There are a lot of us.
No shenanigans. In and out in 5 minutes

I voted for the second time.
First time was Obama in 2008.
A lot has changed in 12 years. It felt cathartic. I felt really worried at the voting station, before I shaded the bubble under Trump/Pence. All of my friends and coworkers are progressive woke people. I live in NYC and my friends are "educated white liberals". Was I really going to vote for Trump?
Well I fucking did it and walked out with a big ass smile on my face. I know my vote doesn't count in NYC but it does count in the national popular vote, so there's that.
I did it, pedes, and it felt so good.
Fellow NYC pede here, good job!
