King David literally had someone killed, because he lusted after his wife. God punished him severely for this, but he was ultimately a great King (though not the best person at times). We are all bad people, and Jesus was the only one who could obey "The Law" (thankfully on our behalf), and that is the point of the Bible. God works through who he works through. To me it's obvious who I should vote for as a Christian, when one side does everything they can to remove Christian values from the country and the other fights for them.

This is how I am reading the bible now, I love the Bible Project. Their podcasts are awesome too. They have totally opened my eyes.
