Michigander here-his previous campaign attempt to unseat senior senator Debbie Stabenow was very MAGA and pro Trump. He aimed very very high, fell short.

I believe he is still MAGA. Just doing a different approach, not openly flaunting/embracing MAGA and going against junior senator Gary Peter's (lots of us Michiganders say "Who's he??") Not trying the same strategy and expecting a different result.

John James is leading in the polls. He is expected to win!
