Well, I think we have reached a fork in the road and people are going to have to pick a side. The Dems will have to stand down and the Patriots will have to stand up. I don't want a civil war but it seems clear that is what the collectivists want because they think they can grab power in the chaos. That won't happen, not in America. This is not a shit-hole country, to quote a great American president. I think the collectivists have made two miscalculations.
First, they thought that our silence was sanction and generally that is true, if you don't speak up others assume you agree, but Americans are unaware of that principle. The socialists have been pushing the country farther and farther to the left for decades without any opposition, save a few mealy-mouthed RINOs who agreed with the direction but not the speed of the transition. But the heart of America never signed off on this plan, we were too busy making a living and raising families to question it and we just gave the politicians the benefit of the doubt that, despite all the spit and fire, both parties had America's interest at heart. Trump has exposed this lie and the benefit of doubt has expired.
Second, America was one generation (20 years) or maybe half that from being morally unable to defend itself. Their plan would have worked if they had just waited. Think about that. They got impatient and wanted power NOW after over a century of collectivist schemes to destroy America they couldn't wait 10 more years to seize power. Oh, the irony of that. They got drunk on their own kool-aid and thought that since inculcating naive, inexperienced college students was so easy they could do it to all the adults too. They thought that since they could control the narrative in the MSM and SM they controlled reality itself. Turns out not to be the case and it was a huge miscalculation.
Neither side will concede. Were gonna have to fight this out.
